Commitment to Community
One Step At A Time...
Step 1: Future Residents Apply to the Program – they must have lived within 5 miles of the Applegate, be employed locally, and have a history of making the community better.
Step 2: Applicants have to submit a proposal which outlines how their home will serve as a long-term benefit to the community.
Step 3: HOA approves their plan and they complete their community service hours required to receive final approval.
Step 4: Future Resident fundraises 10% of the construction costs of the home.
Step 5: Once funds are raised, construction plans are submitted and the project starts.
Requirements to Maintain Housing
Each resident is required to maintain the home and property to our standards. In addition to that, they have to complete community service project hours monthly & save money for their own home.
